Knight Rider will be back mid-January. It has been stopped for the holidays.

As for it being canceled, it isn't yet, but it looks like it will be. They already reduced the number of episodes they will be showing this season because of low ratings. If things turn around in the ratings with the coming episodes, it might be renewed, but most shows in this situation don't make it unless there is nothing the network feels will do better when comparing ratings vs cost for a time slot next time around (which is a rarity for prime time weeknights during fall/winter).
